Weekend preview

March 13, 2020

he Linnets are back in home National League North action on Saturday with Leeds based Guiseley at The Walks ( 3pm ). Lynn will be looking to regroup after Tuesday evening's 1 - 0 reverse to Bradford Park Avenue and put the pressure back on league leaders York City who entertain Altrincham in what looks a tricky encounter.

Manager Ian Culverhouse is expected to select from the same personal who were involved on Tuesday evening with the possibility of Ryan Fryatt being added  to the fold following his return from injury that has been marked with two games for the reserves in the last week. Saturday's visitors currently occupy 10th position in the league and are enjoying a god season which began with a 3 - 0 win over the Linnets on the opening day of the season back in August.

The fixture was finally given the green light to go ahead following a meeting of the board of directors of the National League on Friday who decided that the full schedule of league fixtures should go ahead on Saturday following the decision by the Premier League and the EFL to suspend all matches until April in view to the current situation regarding Coronavirus.

In accordance with advice form the government and the NHS notices of advice have been placed around the ground as well as  extra sanitiser gel around the toilet facilities at the stadium.

We urge all people attending Saturday's game to practice the best personal hygiene methods and wash hands thoroughly in accordance with government and NHS advice . More information is available at www.gov.uk/coronavirus .
