Home defeat for Linnets

March 11, 2020

The Linnets suffered defeat at The Walks on Tuesday evening as lowly Bradford Park Avenue took all three National League North points back to Yorkshire thanks to a Tom Clare goal midway through the first half.

Ian Culverhouse made one change to the team that beat Gateshead with Sonny Carey replacing Chris Henderson

The home team never got into their stride all evening and once the visitors had their goal they defended stoutly as Lynn struggled to create a clear scoring opportunity throughout the 90 minutes. Despite using all of the three substitutions available to him Ian Culverhouse's outfit were unable to find a breakthrough as the visitors continued their fine recent form in their bid to avoid the drop.

Lynn have more home  league action on Saturday with Guiseley providing the opposition.
