Weekend preview

March 6, 2020

Following the collection of a valuable point at Leamington on Tuesday evening The Linnets are back on their travels this weekend with Gateshead their latest destination for a National League North ( The International Stadium, 3 pm ).

Eighth placed  ' Heed ' will provide town with formidable opposition , suffering just one defeat in their previous 14 games and are unbeaten in the last eleven. Gateshead's home league form has seen just three defeats throughout the season with the likes of Boston United, Brackley Town , Chester and Altrincham all leaving the North East empty handed following their visits. Lynn though will take heart from the 1 - 0 win achieved at the Walks back in November thanks to an Adam Marriott strike.

Ian Culverhouse is expected to be able to call upon a similar squad to Tuesday. Ryan Fryatt returned to action with the reserves in the week following a long injury lay off.
