After a month of near inactivity The Linnets finally got themselves back into match action on Tuesday evening with a valuable point in a 0 - 0 draw at Leamington.
Defender Tom Ward returned from an injury lay off with Dayle Southwell given his first start in a Linnets shirt.
In a tight game both sides struggled to create too many clear cut chances throughout the evening with the hosts coming the closest to scoring with an early header striking Alex Street's left hand post. For Lynn both Tom Ward and Ross Barrows drove shots inches wide from angled chances.
The second half saw much of the same with town having slightly the better amount of the ball with substitute Michael Gash putting a shot inches over the bar as the visitor's searched for a late winner.

With first place York losing 4-1 at home to Hereford, the Linnets find themselves 2 points behind the leaders but with 4 games in hand.
