The Linnets return to The Walks on Tuesday evening when they entertain Leamington in a rearranged National League North fixture (7:45pm).
Town will again be happy to find some home comforts after the weekend’s trip to Bradford which took 6 hours to complete, meaning a delayed kick off and a short warm up spell , yet they still found a way to win against a tough home team who are scrapping for their lives at the bottom of the table.
Ian Culverhouse is again expected to be able to chose from the squad that served him well on Saturday with Ryan Fryatt, Chris Smith and Harry Limb remaining absent . Tom Ward is expected to make his home debut after appearing at the heart of Lynn’s defence at the weekend. Any suspension for Michael Gash who received a red card at Bradford will be served after tomorrow evening.
Leamington arrive at The Walks sitting in 17th position in the league. They had no fixture over the weekend.
The draw was made on Monday lunchtime for the third qualifying round of this season’s FA Trophy . The Linnets have a home tie with National League North rivals Hereford. The match will be played on Saturday , 23rd November with a 3pm kick off.
