The Linnets travel to Yorkshire on Saturday to take on Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North buoyed by Tuesday evening’s 4 – 2 victory at Kidderminster Harriers. The win, town’s first in the league since early September, pushed them back to second spot in the league table and a second win on the road in the week would see the gap to table toppers York City cut to 4 points with the leaders in FA Cup action.
Tom Ward rejoining the club from Grantham Town on Thursday has added to Ian Culverhouse’s defensive options however both Ryan Fryatt and Chris Smith remain on the sidelines. Apart from the usual knocks Culverhouse will be able to select from the same squad as Tuesday evening.
Bradford have endured a traumatic start to the season, sitting currently at the bottom of the table. However a few points being collected will remedy their position quickly and the Linnets will know they will again have to battle hard to earn the points on offer.
A precautionary pitch inspection is planned to take place at 8:30am on Saturday morning at the Horsfall Stadium ahead of the fixture.
