The Linnets recorded a stunning Tuesday evening win on the road at Kidderminster and in doing so moved up to second place in the National League North .
Manager Ian Culverhouse was able to name the same starting line up who had earned a point in Saturday’s 2 – 2 draw with Altrincham.
The visitors found themselves a goal behind early on but responded quickly and levelled things up with a close range finish from Chris Henderson. Parity remained for only a short time as Kidderminster restored their lead with a stunning strike from distance which gave Alex Street no chance. However the Linnets steely determination and grit saw them produce a second equaliser before the interval from Rory McAuley.
The second half was all about Lynn and they got their noses in front for the first time in the match with Adam Marriott notching his 16th goal of the campaign just 6 minutes after the restart. The Linnets now had control of the game and with 20 minutes remaining Ryan Jarvis made sure of the points with another close range finish following a corner.
Town are back in action on Saturday with a visit to Bradford Park Avenue for a National League North fixture.
