Kidderminster preview

November 4, 2019

The Linnets begin a week of away trips on Tuesday evening with a visit to Kidderminster Harriers for a rearranged National League North fixture (Aggborough Stadium, 7:45pm ).

Lynn picked up a valuable home point in Saturday’s 2 – 2 draw with Altrincham. Despite leading twice The Linnets were unable to hold their advantage , conceding a second equaliser with almost the last kick of the game. Despite this they moved up to 4th in the league standings. Kidderminster meanwhile,  collected a very impressive point at York City as their  improved form  continued. Harriers endured a difficult start to their season but Saturday’s point and the previous week’s victory over Farsley Celtic  indicates a difficult long  midweek trip for Ian Culverhouse’s side.

Following Saturday’s bruising encounter Culverhouse has several knocks and bumps to assess. The Lynn boss again will be without Ryan Fryatt and Chris Smith whilst striker Harry Limb remains absent through illness. One positive at the weekend was Ryan Hawkins return to Linnets colours following the conclusion of his 2 month loan spell at Dereham Town.
