Adam Marriott’s second goal of the afternoon , deep into added on time, salvaged a point for the Linnets against a determined Gloucester City at The Walks.
Marriott had given Town the lead from the penalty spot on three minutes after Sam Kelly was bundled over inside the box. The visitors slowly gained a foothold in the game and were level on 26 minutes from Joe Hanks after a series of home defensive mix ups. Aaron Jones hit the base of a post just before the interval but things remained level at the break.
Joe Parker put the Tigers ahead following a flowing visiting move just after the hour mark and despite lots of home toil and half chances Lynn looked to be heading to a first home defeat in over a year until Marriott popped up three yards out to prod home a low centre from Chris Henderson following sustained Linnets pressure.
