The Linnets continue their hectic start to the Vanarama National League North season with two games over three days of the Bank Holiday weekend. On Saturday the Linnets host sixth placed Curzon Ashton and on Monday travel to Leeds to tackle twelfth in the table Farsley Celtic.
Curzon have been somewhat of a surprise package to some with a solid start to their season. They are unbeaten on the road to date having gained two draws and are sure to provide Town with another stern test of their early season fine form that sees them sitting third in the early season league table.
Mid table Farsley have also started their season well having collected two home wins in their opening fixtures and also suffering a 3 – 0 reverse to Southport. Both fixtures have 3pm kick offs.
Ian Culverhouse is expected to be able to call upon a full squad for the weekend with Ross Barrows having a full run out for the reserves in midweek.
Before Saturday’s fixture at The Walks a minutes silence will take place to remember former Lynn director and club stalwart Sid Link who sadly passed away this week. There will also be a bucket collection for the Justin Edinburgh foundation.
Following their 2 – 2 draw with March Town in the week the reserves travel to Felixstowe for a Thurlow Nunn, Division one North fixture.
