King's Lynn Town charge down Bulls

August 11, 2019

King's Lynn Town 3 Hereford 1

King's Lynn Town made it back-to-back wins in the National League North with an excellent display against much-fancied Hereford at the Walks.
Lynn were fitter, stronger, quicker to the ball, more creative, and better than Hereford in all aspects of the pitch for long periods of the game.
The Linnets deservedly went into half-time 2-0 ahead thanks to goals from Michael Gash and Chris Henderson.
Things got even better seven minutes after the break when a wind-assisted cross from Aaron Jones looped over the head of Bulls keeper Brandon Hall.
Mike Symons, did pull a goal back for the Bulls 15 minutes from time, but the game was up by that stage.
The Linnets have now won the last three games between the two sides.
King's Lynn Town (5-2-1-2): Street, Jones, Fox, Smith, Fryatt, McAuley, Clunan, Jarvis (Richards 64), Gash, Marriott (Hawkins 80), Henderson (Kelly 73). Subs not used: Payne and Carey.
