We need an enthusiastic, enthused and energetic bar manager who has excellent cellar experience, who is able to organize the club’s bars and food areas not only on match days but also for private parties. All drink ordering, staff, and day to day management will be under your control it will be your domain and you will be able to motivate existing team members, recruit new members and also train up existing staff so that they are able to run bar areas for themselves. You will also need to liaise with our excellent in-house Chef Jayne to ensure the food side dovetails in nicely with the bar side. Match days can be quite frantic and it needs careful planning as serving 1500 plus fans in 15 minutes as well as looking after VIP’s Sponsors and visiting directors who are enjoying a 3 course meal, it is quite a task and in addition we are ordering another catering unit which will increase the variety of what we are offering and the choice that our fans have. We must always remember to ensure that our fans have a memorable day out and a wonderful experience and part of your role will be to come up with new innovative concepts that fans can enjoy. Part time role - must be able to work Saturdays and be able to be at private events (normally 2 a month).
Health and Safety Manager
We need a fully qualified health and safety manager who understands the regulations and requirements that the football club needs to ensure the safety of all those that come to watch a game of football. We have our own team of stewards and indeed bring in an additional trained external company for days when we feel an extra presence is needed. The role will be mainly home games at The Walks but you will also need to be able to attend meetings with the various safety committees and external boards that the club needs to report to - the times of these meetings can be made to work around your other commitments.
