The Linnets and a Charlton Athletic under-23 team shared six goals in Town’s final pre-season game at a wet Walks.
The hosts found themselves two goals down with only eight minutes on the clock but slowly forced themselves back into the game with a Sam Kelly penalty after Michael Clunan had been felled in the area.
Lynn got themselves back on level terms shortly before the break thanks to a crisp Ryan Hawkins finish on the half-volley.
Lynn made no fewer than eight changes at the break and had much the better of the half.
They took a deserved lead through an Aaron Jones header only for Charlton to level again minutes later to complete the evening’s scoring.
Ian Culverhouse and assistant Paul Bastock will now make final preparations ahead of Saturday’s trip to Leeds to face Guiseley in their opening Vanarama National League North fixture.
