With the start of the Linnets National League North season now less than a month away work continues at a pace with preparations both on and off the pitch.
Groundsman Steve Curtis continues to tend the Walks turf and the installation of the new sprinkler system should be completed within the next few days.
Work to comply with ground grading regulations continues with work to the dugouts and press area complete and other projects continue to take shape.
Gallons of fresh paint have been applied around the ground and behind the scenes in the changing rooms and tunnel area.
Work has begun in earnest in the club bar.
Painting has already started and will continue this weekend along with a team of wallpaper hangers as the transformation continues. Installation engineers were on site on Wednesday and the club are pleased to announce that all eight screens around the bar areas are now able to show BT Sport, which was also installed yesterday.
The club bar will be renamed next week and application forms for memberships to the club’s new social club will also be available, giving members many benefits across the whole club structure.
Measuring for new carpets has also taken place and will be fitted before the new season begins and decor featuring the club’s history is also being manufactured.
