King’s Lynn Town Football Club were, at 1.15pm today, made aware that any potential play-off final would now be played on Monday, May 6, with a 3pm kick-off after being told 24 hours earlier that the final would be on May 8.
Over the past few weeks when it became apparent that we would be involved in the play-offs, a plan of action was drawn up, covering ticketing and ticketing sales, stewards, police and additional match day staff.
After arranging for a 48-hour delay in our provisional arrangements yesterday before having to go back and change our plans again today have proved extremely testing and time consuming for all involved.
However we are now able to announce details of ticket sales for the Southern Premier Central Division final, which will be played at The Walks on Monday, IF we are successful in our semi-final against Stratford on Saturday.
Due to logistical reasons, this game will now NOT be all ticket.
However we ask wherever possible to please purchase your tickets online (they will be available early Saturday evening if we are successful).
Alternatively, they can be purchased from the box office, which will be open on Saturday after the match, between 5pm and 6pm and again on Sunday between 2pm and 6pm.
On Monday itself, the box office will remain open from 9am in the morning until kick-off.
Entrance to the ground will be from 12.30 pm using the usual entry points at the Tennyson Road end of the ground.
Entrance will also be available (if you have already prchased a ticket in advance) at the Hospital End of the stadium.
We expect to be very busy on Monday and we must warn you to be prepared for possibly a long wait to purchase a ticket after 1.30pm.
Although the final won't be all ticket, we again urge to please buy in advance and as early as possible if you can.
Normal admission prices will apply for this game. The fixture is ALL PAY.
As with Saturday, bag searches will be carried out by trained stewards on entering the ground and we please ask you not to bring food and drink with you as it will be confiscated on the gate.
We ask you to please be patient if there are delays in entering the ground and to also respect our staff whilst carrying out their duties.
Thanks in advance for your co-operation and understanding of this situation.
