This morning at 7.45am, the club were officially informed by the Southern Football League that Stratford Town had been fined and deducted a total of three points for fielding an ineligible player.
Despite the points deduction, Stratford Town remain in the play-offs and we will now host them on Saturday afternoon at the Walks in the Southern Premier, Central Division play-off semi-final. As it currently stands, the other tie between Stourbridge and Alvechurch will be played on Sunday.
The club can now confirm the following arrangements for the King's Lynn Town v Stratford fixture on Saturday, May 4 (3pm).
This fixture is ALL PAY. Normal admission prices will apply. VIP season ticket holders can apply for their tickets by emailing: [email protected]
Please note, this fixture is NOT all ticket and cash admission is available on the afternoon.
For this fixture we ask you please not to bring your own food and drink with you. Bag searches will be carried out by extra safety stewards who we are employing on your entry into the stadium. Any food and drink found will be confiscated.
However if you wish to purchase a ticket in advance they are now available online.
Also the club’s box office will be open between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, May 4, if you wish to buy a ticket ahead of the match.
Tickets purchased for the original staging date of this game will still be valid for Saturday.
Anyone who has purchased a ticket for the original staging date and cannot attend on Saturday are asked to email: [email protected] after Saturday’s fixture so a refund can be processed.
If successful on Saturday afternoon, we will host either Stourbridge or Alvechurch in the Southern League Central Division play-off final on Wednesday evening.
Details of admission and ticket arrangements will be made after meetings with club officials and the local authorities have taken place.
The club wishes to thank our supporters for their patience in what has been a stressful few days for everyone.
We now ask you all to get firmly behind Ian Culverhouse and the team, beginning on Saturday afternoon, as we face one of the biggest challenges ever by the club to gain promotion.
