Adam Marriott registered a Boxing Day hat-trick as King’s Lynn Town moved up to third in the table by extending their unbeaten to run to 14 matches.
Marriott and fellow strike partner Michael Gash were at their imperious best as the Linnets avenged an August Bank Holiday defeat against their Suffolk rivals.
It took the Walks outfit just five minutes to open the scoring and, once they took the lead, the final result was never in doubt as the hosts dominated possession with a passing masterclass.
Lynn opened the scoring following a move down the right involving Michael Clunan, Gash and Jordan Richards which ended with Richards crossing for Marriott to fire home.
Four minutes later, Marriott grabbed his second with a powerful effort which Elvijs Putnins was unable to keep out.
Lowestoft were handed an opportunity to reduce the arrears on 17 minutes when Ryan Jarvis was adjudged to have fouled Kieran Higgs in the area.
Shaun Bammant stepped up to take the resulting penalty kick which was kept out by Alex Street to his right.
Lynn's passing game had Lowestoft chasing shadows for long periods of the festive clash.
The home side's third came midway through the second half when Clunan delivered a corner from the right and Gash rose highest to head past a hapless Putnins.
It remained one-way traffic and three minutes later the scoring was completed when the ball found its way through to Marriott who made no mistake with the finish.
Marriott almost turned provider late on after playing in substitute Ryan Hawkins, whose brilliant effort was tipped over the woodwork by Putnins.
