The Linnets are back in action this evening at The Walks as Buxton visit in an FA Trophy first qualifying round replay (7.45pm).
Saturday’s match at The Silverlands ended in a 3-3 draw.
Town held a two-goal lead on the hour and a man advantage shortly after.
However a spirited home revival saw them score three goals in a 20-minute spell with Lynn scrambling an injury-time leveller via Jack Frowhawk forcing this evening’s replay.
Both Adam Marriott and Chris Henderson missed Saturday’s fixture but it is hoped that both could be fit enough for tonight’s replay.
The winners of this evening’s replay will receive £3250 in prize money and a place in the second qualifying round of this season’s competition.
A trip to Northern Premier league team Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday, November 10, awaits tonight’s victors.
Defender Kalern Thomas has left the Linnets and joined our Southern League Central Division rivals Coalville Town following a seven-day approach.
The club wishes Kalern well for the future and thank him for his efforts whilst with King’s Lynn Town Football Club.
Lynn's Under-18s were beaten 4-0 in the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup by a very strong Northampton Town team last night at the Sixfields Stadium.
The youngsters gave a very good account of themselves against an experienced team with two goals being conceded late in the game.
An excellent game was enjoyed by a crowd of more than 500.
