King's Lynn Town have today completed the signing of striker Adam Marriott from Boston United.
The former Cambridge United, Cambridge City, Stevenage, Lincoln City, Royston Town frontman has signed a two-year deal at The Walks.
On the arrival of Marriott, joint boss Robbie Back said: "Adam's goalscoring record in the game speaks for itself.
"Over the last couple of games we have missed a load of chances and it was obvious that we needed a player who can put the ball in the back of the net.
"Neil (Fryatt) and myself have been tracking Adam at Boston United the last few weeks and we are delighted that he has signed a two-year deal with the club.
"As well as being a proven goalscorer, he has also played in the pro game so is another good player to bring into the group. He also played with Gashy at Cambridge United, so that's another advantage for us."
Marriott joined the Pilgrims from Royston Town in the summer, where he linked up with former team-mates Nathan Arnold and Jonny Margetts.
Marriott began his career at Cambridge United, where he played alongside current Linnets frontman Michael Gash, before spells with both Cambridge City and Stevenage.
He helped the Red Imps to the National League title and Emirates FA Cup quarter-finals in 2016-2017 before signing for Royston Town in the Southern League Premier Division last season.
Marriott enjoyed a goal-laden season with the Crows, netting 31 times last term, one of which game against the Linnets in a 2-0 defeat at Garden Walk.
