King's Lynn Town are delighted to announce an exciting signing with the capture of Chris Henderson..
Henderson, an attacking midfielder, arrives at The Walks on a two-year deal following a move from Lynn's Southern Central Premier Division rivals Leiston.
Henderson becomes the first signing of the new management team of Neil Fryatt and Robbie Back.
Joint boss Back said: "Chris is an excellent first signing for Neil and myself and the important thing is that he can play in a number of roles.
"He's got experience of playing at this level and the one above and knows the group of players so he will fit in really well.
"There's no doubting his quality. He's very good on the ball and he will suit our style of football."
After starting out Bury Town, it was with Lowestoft that Henderson became a household name.
Henderson was a regular as the Trawlerboys competed in both the Conference North and Ryman Premier Division and has a great strike record from midfield
He made more than 150 appearances at Crown Meadow, scoring almost 50 goals, before making the switch to Suffolk rivals Leiston in the summer of 2017.
The 28-year-old will no doubt bring not only a wealth of experience but an abundance of pace and energy to add to an already quality squad at The Walks.
