Defender Aaron Jones has completed the signing of his two-year contract at King's Lynn Town.
Jones, who made his full Linnets debut at Tamworth on Saturday, spent 10 years with Ipswich Town's development academy before moving to the United States to play college soccer at Georgia State University.
The Linnets beat off league rivals Leiston, Needham Market and Lowestoft to secure the signature of the 24-year-old.
Manager Simon Clark said: "Aaron is a good age and is really fit. He is a real competitor, listens to what you want to do and is able to deliver it.
"He's a dream for a manager and the other players enjoying playing with him. He was desperate to play on Saturday and that's testament to him.
"I had no worries that he'd be able to handle the pressure at Tamworth and he is only going to get better."
