With the arrival of the “Beast from the East” in West Norfolk the club are urging supporters to keep abreast of social media and local papers and radio over the next few days ahead of Saturday’s scheduled Southern Premier Division fixture versus Basingstoke Town at The Walks.
This afternoon (Wednesday) the pitch is under a carpet of snow following the inclement spell of weather.
Speaking to www.kltown.co.uk the club’s media officer Mark Hearle said,
“With the uncertainty over the weather forecast for the end of the week and the current weather situation I would suggest to all supporters to keep an eye and an ear across all of our media outlets between now and Saturday as they will bring you the latest information as to regards of possible pitch inspections etc.
The club has to follow Southern League protocol on these matters as there are other factors that have to be considered and taken into account in these situations. As soon as there is any news we will pass it to our supporters’.
