Following a blank weekend The Linnets return to action on Tuesday evening with the visit of Royston Town to The Walks (7:45).
With only Weymouth from the top 5 in action a Lynn win could see them increase their lead at the top of the Southern Premier Division.
Town got back to winning ways last Tuesday with an impressive 2 – 1 win at Banbury United, thanks to a Michael Clunan penalty and a fine effort from Cameron Norman. More of the same will be needed on Tuesday as Royston were the first team to defeat the Linnets back in September on a wet and windy Tuesday evening by a 2 – 0 margin.
The visitors were in FA Trophy action at the weekend and progressed through to the third qualifying round of the competition by defeating Leatherhead 3-2.
They currently hold 14th spot in the league and have secured 3 wins on the road already this season.
Tuesday evening also sees The FA Trophy replay between Hereford and Potters Bar. If Hereford win the match their scheduled trip to The Walks on Saturday 25th will be postponed and arranged for another date.
