The Linnets are back in Southern Premier Division action this evening when they make the journey to Banbury United (7:45)
Town will be looking to get firmly back on track this evening following two straight home 1 – 0 defeats that have slowed the clubs recent momentum.
10th placed Banbury will be another tough Tuesday night examination for Ian Culverhouse’s men, The Puritans made an excellent start to the season and led the league in the early weeks of the season but their form of late has been a little inconsistent of late and can best be summed up with their last two fixtures – both at home to Tiverton Town.
Last Tuesday the home side ran out 3-2 winners in an FA Trophy replay but against the same opposition at the weekend lost by a 2-1 margin emphasising their recent problems.
Last season Lynn were soundly beaten by a 4-0 scoreline on a roasting hot August afternoon but won the Walks return 1-0 thanks to a Toby Hilliard goal.
It is expected that Ian Culverhouse will select his side from a similar squad that entertained Chesham United on Saturday.
