Linnets look to bounce back

November 3, 2017

The Linnets are back in Southern Premier division action on Saturday when Chesham United visit The Walks (3pm).

Town will be keen to get back to winning ways following last weekend’s disappointing FA Trophy exit to Mildenhall Town with some tough looking away fixtures to follow.

Chesham have not enjoyed a good season to date, currently sitting in 14th spot in the league following what was a good previous season which saw a long FA Cup run and a good beginning to the league campaign before they fell away from a challenging position as the season progressed. Lynn however completed the double over Saturday’s visitors last season achieving a 2-1 away win before winning their final game of last season 3-1 at The Walks.

It is expected that Manager Ian Culverhouse will have a full squad to choose from for Saturday’s fixture.

The reserves travel to Team Bury in the Thurlow Nunn league Division one.
