Sam Warburton has this evening departed King's Lynn Town Football Club to link up with Corby Town.
Warburton initially joined the club on loan from Nuneaton before becoming a permanent member of the squad when he put pen to paper on a 18 month contract in December 2016.
Sam made 40 appearances for Lynn finding the net 3 times, All them goals coming in the same game against Slough Town.
Warburton spoke to www.Kltown.co.uk and had this to say, "I'm gutted to be leaving the club, But travelling and sitting on the bench every week isn't for me, I'm a young lad and I need to be playing every week so the time was right for me to move on.
"The lads have been brilliant this year and I'll be very surprised if they aren't in and around the top 5 at the end of season.
"I've made some great mates at the club and I won't be a stranger, I'll certainly be back to support the lads when I don't have a game.
Everybody at King's Lynn Town Football Club would like to thank Sam for his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future.
