2 on the bounce for The Linnets.
Bishop Stortford 2-3 King's Lynn Town
The Linnets made it two wins from two games as they picked up a good three points at Bishop Stortford.
And like Saturday it was a quick Linnets goal that started the ball rolling for the visitors, Home keeper Nicky Ayre was caught out of his goal and Craig Parker latched onto a Michael Gash flick on to coolly lob the stranded keeper from 25 yards.
Lynn followed suite like Saturday and doubled there lead only a few minutes later, A short corner routine involving Michael Clunan and Ryan Hawkins ended with Hawkin's cross being deflected into the box, The ball was helped on by Parker and Leon Mettam was on hand to flick home.
Mettam nearly doubled his tally just minutes before the break when his flicked header from Cameron Normans cross flashed across the face of the goal.
Bang on 45 minutes the home side got themselves on the score sheet, Jason Williams slid through by Dipo Akinyemi and made no mistake in firing past Alex Street.
With the voice of Ian Culverhouse still ringing in the ears of the Lynn players they increased their lead on 47 minutes, A pin point Clunan Cross was met by the towering head of Michael Gash who wasn't going to be denied on this occasion when his header flew into the net.
The home side registered what only proved to be a consolation deep into stoppage time, Darren Foxley stabbing the ball home from a drilled cross on the left hand side.
