The Linnets head to the coast this Saturday when they round off another series of pre season games when they take on Lowestoft Town (please note 2PM KO).
It’s the final chance for Ian Culverhouse to try things out before the real action begins next weekend when Gosport Borough visit The Walks. The match is expected to give Lynn a tough test against a fellow step 3 team and with Ryan Jarvis and Frazer Blake–Tracy returning to their former club a competitive 90 minutes is on the cards.
Rob Back’s reserve’s have league action on Saturday when they travel to Whitton United for their opening Thurlow Nunn Division 1 fixture of the campaign (3PM KO). Confidence is high at the club that they can better their league finish of last season and build on their Division 1 KOC final win. Back has kept together the majority of last season’s squad and only this week has added some experience to the team with the signings of Mathew Dye from Fakenham Town and talented young goalkeeper Aaron Watson.
On Sunday Lynn Ladies have a high-profile pre season friendly when MK Dons Ladies visit The Walks (2PM KO).
The club was greatly encouraged by the turnout for last season’s visit of West Ham Ladies and with the recent exploits of England’s Lionesses still fresh in the memory it’s hoped for a similar turnout on Sunday.
