On Wednesday evening , prior to their friendly fixture versus Peterborough United Under 16’s, the club’s youth team and their manager Neil Fryatt were presented with sponsored tracksuits for the forthcoming season by Martin Seal of Citroen dealer Duff Morgan of Bergen Way in the town.
Speaking afterwards to www.kltown.co.uk Mr Seal said he was delighted that Duff Morgan had increased their commercial activities with the club. ‘We already sponsor Ian Culverhouse with a vehicle for the new season and felt that by assisting Neil and his team with tracksuits we are helping out with both ends of the club. I feel it’s important to be seen to be involved with the youngsters as everyone deserves a chance and hopefully some of these lads are the club’s first team players of the future’.
Neil Fryatt added ‘I would like to thank Martin and all at Duff Morgan for this magnificent and kind gesture to the club. The lads look very smart in them and proud to play for the team. We have enjoyed a decent pre season and on a personal level I am looking forward to the season ahead’.
Peterborough won the game 4-1 with Josh Walker finding the net for the young Linnets.
